Can I visit Daybreak House?
For the safety and wellbeing of the babies in our care, Daybreak House is not open to unplanned visits. All access is arranged through our Volunteer Coordinator after a formal application and screening process.
How do I become a volunteer?
Start on our Volunteer page to complete your application, download your clearance forms, and agree to our indemnity. Once approved, you’ll receive access to our shift booking system.
How do I make a donation?
Head to our Donate page to give online via card or EFT. All donations are made to the Grové Schoombee Foundation NPC on behalf of Daybreak House. Please use the reference DB Donation.
Do donations qualify for a Section 18A tax deduction?
Yes, the Grové Schoombee Foundation holds PBO status (PBO: 930076658) and can issue Section 18A tax certificates. Email us at info@daybreakhouse.co.za after donating if you need a certificate.
Can my company or church partner with Daybreak House?
Absolutely. We welcome corporate partnerships, church sponsorships, and fundraising initiatives. Use the contact form above and select “Corporate Partnership” — we’ll arrange a conversation.
Can I donate items instead of money?
Yes! We maintain a Wish List of needed items. Check our Wish List page before purchasing, and email us to arrange a handover time that works for the house.
