Join Daybreak House and Alsuli Creative for a morning that is a little different.
Not a paint-along. Not another ladies’ tea.
You are going to design your own genuine leather handbag. Your ticket includes the full Alsuli Design Experience, where you will choose from beautiful leathers, play with colour, texture and combinations, and create a bag that looks like nobody else’s.
Your ticket includes your choice of an Elizna Phone Bag or Martha Moonbag, all the leather and materials required, and guidance throughout the design process.
A selection of additional Alsuli handbag designs will be available on the day, and you can simply upgrade by paying the difference.
A conversation with Alsuli founder Alicia Swart about colour, creativity, individuality and giving ourselves permission to show up as who we actually are, especially in a world that often rewards fitting in.
Enjoy a speciality coffee and fresh Danish pastry on arrival. You are also welcome to bring a bottle of bubbly or any other drinks of your choice.
Start with the Elizna or Martha included in your ticket, or upgrade to another design.
Explore the leather table. Colour. Texture. Pattern. Unexpected combinations. There are no prescribed designs to copy.
Move things around. Change your mind. Try something strange. That is the whole point.
The Alsuli team guides you through the process. No previous experience is needed.
You design. We stitch and finish your bag professionally. Bags will be ready in four to five weeks for collection at Daybreak House.
Not a mass-produced goodie bag. Not something everyone else received too. A genuine leather handbag designed by you.
A selection of additional Alsuli handbag designs will be available on the day. If you fall in love with one of these, you can simply upgrade by paying the difference on the morning.
Alicia Swart’s story behind Alsuli did not begin with handbags. It began with a personal journey from surviving life to choosing life.
Along the way, colour became something more than something she wore or created with. It became a language for individuality, courage and the gradual rediscovery of the parts of ourselves that can disappear when life becomes more about getting through than truly living.
That journey became the philosophy behind Alsuli: walk in your own colour in a world of grey. For Alicia, it is not about finding the right colour or simply wearing something brighter. It is about the walk. Learning to recognise what is genuinely yours, giving yourself permission to choose it, and having the courage to keep walking in it even when it looks different from everyone around you.
At Kleur die Lig In, Alicia will share some of her own journey and explore why rediscovering our individuality can sometimes begin with something surprisingly simple: giving ourselves permission to choose what we actually love.
Today, Alicia is the founder and creative force behind Alsuli Creative, where that philosophy comes to life through colour, leather, creativity and experiences designed to give people room to experiment, play and create something unmistakably their own.
Beyond Alsuli, Alicia is an executive consultant, strategist, facilitator and speaker with more than two decades of experience working with organisations and leaders through strategy, risk, transformation, complexity and change.
